Quirky Birds in acrylic and paper collage - Jackie Garner

Have fun creating quirky birds, as realistic or as fantastic as you wish. We’ll explore a variety of acrylic techniques, creating patterned papers ready to use to collage our birds. Acrylic paints will modify or enhance the patterns to create a cohesive picture. Suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. The tutor will make a charge for any of her materials used , payable on the day.

Charcoal Portraits - Kate Smith

In this course I will show you how to take the guesswork out of accuracy, teaching skills and techniques that have been used successfully for centuries. The tutor will make a charge for any of her materials used, payable on the day.

Greek Binding -Anna Yevtukh-Squire

Join us to create a modern variation of Greek Binding which refers to a distinct historical bookbinding style from the Byzantine era (c.1000-1453). This style, descended from Coptic traditions, involved sewing directly onto the boards with unique attachments, creating a sturdy book that allows pages to sit flush with the covers. Suitable for all levels of experience. Materials: £10 payable on the day.

Wonderful willow—Helen Lomberg

Come and learn how to make plant supports and structures for your garden with Hazel and Willow. We will cover the obelisk - a type of plant climber, trellises, small hurdles and plant supports . There will be a charge for materials, payable to the tutor on the day.
